Jog for Justice
Ever had one of those mornings where nothing goes right? I am having one of those mornings.
This is my second attempt to send this newsletter as the first one is lost out there somewhere in cyberspace. I hit the save button - but...oh, well.
I wanted to encourage everyone who has yet to register for this year's Jog for Justice to do so as Saturday 31st July is THIS SATURDAY. If you are one to wait until the last minute - this is the last minute!
You can register online at www.rcbc.org.au/jogforjustice and the website will provide for you all the information you need.
This year we are raising much needed monies to provide life skills and vocational training for the Karen women living in refugee camps in Thailand.
I hope to see all of you this Saturday as there is something for every member of your family (kids activities, face painting, cakes and coffee, massage, live music and more!).
Where is it? Darcy Doyle Park, Mudgeeraba. You can park your car at Firth Park, Somerset Drive.
Festivities go from 8am until 12noon with the Fun Run starting at 9.00am. Yes, you can WALK, JOG or RUN. Registration for Adults - $16 and for Children - $11. You can get a T-shirt for only $17.
Come be a part of this "WORLD-CHANGING JUSTICE" event which is unique to Reedy Creek Baptist Church. There will be people from the surrounding area, plus a variety of schools and churches represented.
Have a great week,
Pastor Rich
PS: This Saturday is also our Shed Men - Motorcycle Display - here at the church - 6.30pm. Includes a BBQ and a "special twist" - all for $10.
PSS: Join us for ReHydrate Cafe Night this coming Sunday evening at 5.00pm and experience what it's like to eat AND listen to Rich preach (at the same time)!
The T-shirts and Hoodies have arrived!!! Get yours this Sunday night!
